Time irreversibility and amplitude irreversibility measures for nonequilibrium processes

چکیده

Time irreversibility, which characterizes nonequilibrium processes, can be measured based on the probabilistic differences between symmetric vectors. To simplify quantification of time permutations instead vectors have been employed in some studies. However, although effective practical applications, this approach is conceptually incorrect. irreversibility should rather than permutations, whereas to determine quantitative amplitude – a novel parameter proposed paper for calculated by means difference fluctuations. Through theoretical and experimental analyses, we highlight strong similarities close associations measures. Our clarifies connections two types permutation-based parameters nonequilibrium, doing so, bridge concepts broaden selection tools studying processes complex systems.
